KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (The finer details of what the role is assigned for the day-to-day activities on the job. Tasks to support results.)

• Develop processes for new molds to optimize parameters and specifications.
• Collaborate with customers and program managers on-site to develop processes and attain product approval.
• Apply scientific molding practices and understanding.
• Operate and understand moisture analyzer equipment.
• Read and interpret part drawings.
• Ensure active production molds function correctly and produce quality products throughout the shift.
• Install molds and auxiliary equipment for peak performance.
• Identify and resolve setup process issues.
• Set process parameters based on approved process sheets.
• Demonstrate proper purging methods during material changes.
• Perform decouple processing techniques.
• Achieve quality parts, optimize cycle times, and minimize scrap through processing skills.
• Train machine operators on molding operations.
• Report safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Meet scheduling deadlines.
• Maintain mold protection set points at minimal operational levels.
• Develop and document optimal process parameters.
• Assist Senior Process Engineer as needed.
• Comply with IQMS and ISO standards.
• Operate a forklift and install/program robotics and end-of-arm tooling.
