The Director, Ad Monetization will be responsible for growing and optimizing revenue for more than 1,000 website and mobile applications across Learfield IMG College’s network of university, conference and association partnerships. The position will be a member of the Ad Operations team.  The team’s primary focus is assisting Learfield IMG College’s local and national sales team in the optimization and growth of website and mobile display/video ad revenue through the fulfillment of sponsorship and media sales campaigns as well as programmatic ad delivery. 


Responsible for ad monetization, optimization, programmatic sales and yield management for Learfield IMG College’s official athletic sites (OAS) and mobile app advertising and entitlement inventory.
Oversee team comprised of a yield manager, programmatic manager and analyst.
Assist in the creation of new ad value through initiatives designed to optimize ad unit types (i.e., addition of premium units, out-stream video, etc.), ad placements, viewability, etc. 
Grow revenue through existing and future 3rd party sales partnerships.
Oversight of data reporting systems and business decisions driven by data analysis. 
Develop strategies for sales package options (i.e., display ad, video ads, entitlements) for local and national sales offering as well as programmatic.
Evaluate rate card and make recommendations for updates to pricing strategies.
Support Direct Sales team and develop strategies for media and sponsorship sales in collaboration with the national and local sales teams.
Define and update rules for line-item priorities across the various sales entities.
Co-lead the management of business requirements for all related systems and processes.
Oversee strategy for ad sales revenue generation for new direct to consumer platforms.

Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Digital Marketing, or related field
5-7 years of experience in yield / revenue operations management.
Knowledge of programmatic sales solutions.
IAB Digital Media Sales Certified is a plus.
Experience managing a team dedicated to digital revenue growth preferred.
Record of effective relationship building, negotiation, deal closing and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of efficiency and quality assurance for several competing projects.
Displays strong communication skills and has ability to clearly and confidently provide strategic guidance when working with individuals who may not have a strong digital background.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing obstacles and overcoming problems.
