Customer Service Director – Drayage/Transportation Industry | Long Beach, CA | $160K - $190K + Bonus

Vaco Los Angeles is partnering with a leading company in the Drayage/Transportation industry to find an experienced and qualified Customer Service Director. This pivotal role is responsible for managing and supporting the customer service team to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. You will work closely with various departments to optimize customer experience and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver industry-leading customer service to clients, identifying and addressing their needs proactively.
  • Manage, train, and mentor the customer service team to foster growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales and Marketing to align on client needs and business goals.
  • Facilitate the organic growth of the customer base through outstanding service.
  • Shape the strategy and vision for the customer service department, making a tangible impact on the company’s success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in a customer service management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in the Drayage/Transportation industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing a customer service team within a mid to large-sized company.
  • Strong proficiency in various technology systems and software.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change and innovation within customer service functions.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary between $160K - $190K, plus a performance-based bonus structure.
