Job Details

Position Summary:
Seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Director of Finance to lead financial operations while supporting strategic planning and future growth initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Board, investors, and lending partners. This individual will lead a small but capable finance team and serve as a key advisor to the CEO and CAO— with the opportunity to evolve into a CFO role over time.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Lead finance team by establishing clear financial processes and improve financial efficiency by using automation and reporting tools (Sage Intacct preferred).
  • Manage cash flow planning, working capital, commissions calculations, etc.
  • Support lender, investor and board communication by preparing financial reports and analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive finance experience in a mid-sized, growth-oriented company.
  • Prior experience managing a finance/accounting team and leading the monthly close process.
  • Exposure to M&A transactions (buy-side, diligence, or integration) preferred.
  • Sage Intaact or cloud ERP experience a plus.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, familiarity with KPI dashboards and automation tools a bonus.
