The Director of Finance is responsible for all matters related to financial management of the company’s capital portfolio. The Director of Finance is also responsible for strategy development as well as the daily operations that ensure timeliness and compliance in capital collections. The company’s growth corresponds to an organic increase in roles and responsibilities, so a driven self-starter that is an expert in the field is needed to oversee the company’s financial operations. 

Duties and Responsibilities
Provides internal and external financial strategy plans and recommendations
Reviews, manages, and maintains all external financial contracts
Empower-client contracts from external vendors
Prescriber-client contracts from sales 
Helps institute and continuously updates departmental compensation incentive plans
Provides measurable and attainable recommendations
Calculates and oversee payout for all departments
Calculates new revenue generated by sales teams 
Initiates financial plans, systems, and protocols for international expansion
Increases yearly operating departmental efficiencies 
Performs rigorous data analysis utilizing all systems and software used for financial planning/control
Helps maintain all company sales dashboards and reports
Performs financial analysis and report to Strategy Team
Works cross-departments internally to assure feedback loop is closed
Works with external clients directly, as needed, to assure financial relations
Oversees the day-to-day functions held under direction of departmental managers:
Accounts Receivable (AR) - Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and billing/collections
Accounts Payable (AP) - Ensure AP is organized, paid on-time in full, and ongoing managed
Customer Service - Effectively respond to customer inquiries (Patient Walk-Ins, Dial-Ins, Emails) in a timely manner, ensuring customers (patients and providers) assume priority
Payroll - Submit bi-weekly for the entire company
Managerial business needs for a growing financial team
Staffing appropriation
Performance reviews/coaching/leadership
KPI implementation and tracking
Creation and maintenance of departmental internal policies and procedures
Increasing quality & decreasing waste
Oversight of Financial Controller
Budgeting, P&Ls
Internal and external audits
Credit card management
Manage Capex projects financing
Cash deposits

Knowledge and Skills
Communicate effectively both verbally and written with personnel at all levels
Excellent computer skills in Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge and application of General Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in using Accounting/ERP/Financial Management software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.
Proficiency in using CRM software including Salesforce 
Ability to handle confidential information
Recommended - Healthcare/Pharmaceutical prior experience

Experience and Qualifications
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), preferred
CPA, preferred  
10+ years in finance/accounting
5+ years of experience in management
Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
