Director of Finance
Location: North Seattle / On-site
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $160,000 DOE

As a key strategic leader within the organization, the Director of Finance will oversee the development of financial strategies and initiatives that support business growth and operational efficiency. Overview of the Director of Finance role:

  • As Director of Finance, you will establish and align key financial metrics with the company’s strategic objectives, fostering a performance-driven culture across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a team to develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts that support the company’s growth initiatives.
  • Oversee the evaluation and implementation of a data management and visualization platform to track and report results, ensuring accessibility and usability for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for market expansion, capital investment, and resource optimization.
  • Present financial results and operational metrics through engaging visualizations and dashboards to improve understanding and decision-making across teams.
  • Implement and manage scalable financial policies and processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting, aligning with industry standards and benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications of the Director of Finance role:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 8 years in progressively responsible strategic finance roles, with strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and build strategic initiatives clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including advanced financial modeling and the implementation of data-specific tools and platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software tools. Experience with data visualization platforms is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, medical billing, or a related industry is highly preferred, providing an understanding of the financial complexities of these sectors.
