Key Responsibilities of the Finance Director:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Drive operational improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and transparency.
  • Lead financial operations, including accounting, billing, procurement, and IT finance systems.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, preparing for organizational growth and leadership transition.

Qualifications of the Finance Director:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience working with environmental, construction, or engineering industries is a plus.
