Director of Rooms
Our Director of Rooms at Homewood Suites Ronkonkoma is accountable for ensuring smooth operations of the front desk, housekeeping and laundry departments. Our ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the following job requirements:
You must have flexible scheduling availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Oversee the workload and schedule of the front desk, housekeeping and laundry teams, assign tasks and delegate job dueties as needed to meet needs
Deliver resolution to the needs of customers
Excellent communication skills
Excellent administration skills
Ability to resolve problems creatively and efficiently
A flexible schedule to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Required to ensure staffing levels are appropriate to meet business demands
Conducting daily room inspections to ensure brand standards are being met
Prior hotel management experience is a plus!
