Document Control Specialist

We are looking for a document control specialist to join our team. The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining document integrity. This role will involve handling document creation, revision, and distribution, as well as ensuring that all documents are compliant with company and regulatory standards. You will also create, design, and maintain document processes and procedures and enforce the proper chain of action and document identification.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, revision, storage, retrieval, and distribution of controlled documents, including engineering drawings, safety protocols, and operational manuals using Office 365
- Ensure all documentation follows the company's internal quality standards and complies with external regulatory requirements.
- Track and maintain accurate version control for all documents, ensuring timely updates and distribution.
- Implement and manage document permissions to maintain confidentiality and ensure that sensitive documents are accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that documents are properly categorized, reviewed, and approved in accordance with established procedures.
- Generate status reports on document control activities, identifying and addressing any issues during the transition period.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in document control or records management.
- Strong clerical and typing skills, including document formatting
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of document control systems and regulatory standards.
Compensation:
- Salary at $60,000 - 75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
