Seeking an I&E CAD Designer based in Tyler, Texas for a long-term role.
Responsibilities include creating, modifying, and reviewing one-lines, wiring schematics, instrument loop diagrams, and P&IDs. Must work closely with plant engineering and maintenance, adapt to changing priorities, and work from ladders or scaffolds. Tasks involve producing detailed construction drawings, incorporating engineer markups, and ensuring compliance with client CAD standards.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years of CAD experience, basic P&ID knowledge, familiarity with piping, valves, and electrical components, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft programs is preferred.
Preferred candidates are local or willing to relocate independently. No per diem offered. Pay rate is based on experience.
