EC Engineer

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. Duration: Full-time

Location: Beaverton, OR/ Redmond, WA (Hybrid)

Salary: $90,000-$135,000 + Other benefits

Role Description: As an EC Engineer, you must have at least 4+ years of experience. In this position, you have the challenge to work with international vendors on next generation chipsets and firmware such as EC.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Must have the sense of the software development process to fit the requirements, specifications, and high-quality source code.

- Must have a passion for software development.

- Must have the ability to develop software independently, and the ability to work with other team members.

- Must study new technical specifications and provide guidance/training accordingly.

- Must have good communication skills including sharing their knowledge by document.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.

- 4+ years of working experience on embedded controllers/micro controllers’ development

- Experience of MCU (EC/KBC/ECLite) code development and NRE project support

- Familiar with KBC/EC development process from the beginning

- Programming languages Verilog and VHDL

- Capabilities of digital signal, hardware, and interface analysis

- Willing to study from specification and existing/next generation products in market

- Experience debugging and resolving embedded software/firmware issues.

- Knowledge in encryption and security protocols.

- Motivation to work independently and open to collaboration with cross-functional teams

- A team player with great communication skills, having co-working experience with an international team will be a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
