The Electrical Control Engineer participates in developing and supporting electrical control design for HVAC products.
- Designs and reviews electrical components, schematics, and control logic, ensuring compliance with UL and ETL standards.
- Analyzes hardware and software, including VFDs, relays, transformers, and circuit breakers, proposing improvements.
- Collaborates across departments to implement projects, troubleshoot field issues, and assist with product startup.
- Cross-trains in tasks like manual VFD programming, EOL testing, and wiring calculations.
- Requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering or related experience, with knowledge of building control systems and protocols.
- Works primarily in an office, with occasional manufacturing environment exposure, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to handle complex engineering challenges under supervision.
