The Engineering Co-op Student supports mechanical and/or electrical engineering in developing new components, products, and improving existing ones.
They collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, and global teams to translate design concepts into detailed drawings, perform testing, and assist with prototype and production activities.
Responsibilities include product testing, prototype development, supporting manufacturing processes, reviewing drawings and specifications, leading or assisting design change investigations, creating test plans, interpreting test data, and managing 3D printer operations.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, have a GPA of 3.0+, basic 3D modeling skills, strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities, and a positive, self-directed attitude.
Overall, this role offers practical experience in motor design, product testing, and engineering documentation within a global industrial environment.
