Position Overview:

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center, is seeking a passionate and faith-driven Elementary Teacher: 3rd, 4th, or 5th Grade to inspire academic excellence and character development in students. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, engaging, and spiritually enriching classroom environment while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.

• Certification: Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.

• Skills: Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Faith-Based Instruction & Leadership

• Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture.

• Model Christ-like behavior in all interactions with students, staff, and families.

• Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives.

✅Engaging & Effective Teaching

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to enhance student engagement and learning.

✅Student Support & Classroom Management

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior.

• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly.

✅Communication & Collaboration

• Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators.

• Provide timely feedback on student progress and development.

• Engage in professional development to continually improve teaching practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift/move 10-25 lbs and constantly lift/move up to 10 lbs.

Additional Information:

• Contract Term: 189 days

• Salary: Based on education and experience.
