The Engineer, Level 1, is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimal disruption to guests and staff.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, pumps, and kitchen equipment.
- Replace and program electronics, light fixtures, and wall coverings; repair furniture, sheetrock, and pool/spa systems.
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; troubleshoot water lines and electronic lock systems.
- Maintain accurate repair records and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in a hotel or related field preferred, and ability to handle physical workload.
- Must communicate effectively, multitask, follow safety standards, and provide friendly, service-oriented support.
- Availability for flexible hours, ability to cross-train, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate initiative are required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
