This role supports new and standard product development by building prototypes and testing models.
- Build and set up test prototypes independently.
- Perform and document product performance and qualification tests.
- Collect data, monitor long-term tests, and report results.
- Participate in lab maintenance and quality improvement activities.
- Identify design or manufacturing issues from test results.
- Design simple test fixtures and outline procedures for product manuals.
- Support continuous technical skill development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of lab testing experience.
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge of lab practices.
- Proficiency with data acquisition, lab tools, and communication skills.
- Legal work authorization in the U.S. required.
