Reporting to the Engineering Director, this role manages distribution center and warehouse projects, focusing on process and infrastructure improvements to optimize assets while controlling budgets for capital and R&M.
It leads enterprise ownership of powered industrial equipment (PIT) and racking systems across various environments, developing standards, lifecycle strategies, and capital plans for reliable, safe operations.
The role collaborates with automation and operations teams to ensure facilities are automation-ready, and partners with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, evaluate new technologies, and develop financial justifications for projects.
Key responsibilities include developing multi-year plans, overseeing budgets, managing capital projects, and engaging external vendors and internal stakeholders to execute upgrades and replacements.
Qualifications include a relevant degree, 7+ years of industrial or logistics engineering experience, expertise in warehouse systems and automation, strong communication skills, and project management experience for large capital projects.
This position offers remote or field location options within proximity to major airports, with up to 50% travel.
