The Teacher position reports to the Principal and is a 9-month (187 days) contract.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering effective instruction aligned with curriculum standards, analyzing assessment data to inform instruction, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting student progress.
Teachers build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, participate in professional development, and ensure safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain accurate records, actively supervise students, and attend parent-teacher conferences.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, full state certification, and being highly qualified per federal guidelines. Teachers must demonstrate ongoing growth and adhere to all policies.
