Position Summary:                                                                                                                                                                  

The primary role of the Enterprise Development Manager is to prioritize customer success and manage technical resources to meet objectives and deadlines within the Agile framework.  The Enterprise Development Manager will contribute to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.  The Enterprise Development Manager will manage, coordinate, and deploy teams’ skillsets to ensure accurate and timely delivery of requirements while driving quality.

Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of enterprise projects/programs using Agile methodology.  Develop and implement enterprise delivery plans, policies, and procedures.  Support project teams, resources, budgets, and schedules, and evaluate team results to determine if organizational objectives are being met.  Manage the risk, issue, and change resolution process and work with other leaders to take corrective action as necessary.  Collaborate with the Manager Product Ownership, Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications & Data, and the Enterprise PMO to deliver project activities and identify and refine project priorities, implementation opportunities, and challenges.

Requirements:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.

Experience Required:   

  • 6+ years of experience in developing code, testing, and deploying it in production.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing teams that configure applications and deliver solutions.
  • 3+ years creating data models, schema design and schema development.
  • Plan, prepare, test, and perform database patches and upgrades.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (i.e., C# or Java).
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Knowledge of all components of technical architecture.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture.
  • Demonstrable leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why”. Articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation.
  • Demonstrable forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude to meet challenges; energized by change and thriving in team-based work.
