Entry Level Accountant’s Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, issuing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Manage bill payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Post and reconcile checks and assist with general ledger entries.
- Assist in financial reporting, budget tracking, and month-end close processes.
- Validate employee timecards to ensure accuracy before payroll processing.
- Assist with payroll processing, including deductions, benefits, and compliance with payroll regulations.
- Support employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork and background checks.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and HR policies.
- Assist in maintaining organized financial and HR documentation.
- Support leadership with ad hoc accounting projects and administrative tasks.
Entry Level Accountant’s Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, payroll laws, and HR practices.
Salary: $50,000-$65,000
