The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Work on a team involved in field surveys and data collection including site characterizations, wetland delineations, stream assessments, habitat and botanical surveys, ecological impact assessments, protected species surveys, fisheries, benthic macroinvertebrate, sediment, and surface water sampling via boat and/or wading, and other site investigations. + Complete desktop/GIS/database reviews of site characteristics prior to mobilizing for field activities. Reporting on findings via preparation of daily logs, letter reports, and site characterization reports. + Aid projects during field and office roles by demonstrating good organization, data management, planning and reporting skills, and the ability to work with teams and/or independently, complete routine quality review of work, provide clear verbal and written communications, and abide by Health and Safety practices and maintain awareness that supports team safety while maintaining high technical standards. + Periodically, such work requires extended hours, working remotely, night work, and/or overnight travel away from home. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field + Demonstrated familiarity with plant identification methods, wetland delineations, stream assessments, aquatic surveys/sampling, and/or other related field skills. This includes a minimum of 200 hours of wetland delineation field and reporting experience. + Boat operation experience (12-21ft vessels) with USCG Safety Training and trailering skill (minimum 100 hours experience, preferably during work/research investigations) + Working knowledge of federal and state environmental laws and permitting + Experienced with use of spreadsheet development, word processing, and standard office software + Excellent communication and report writing skills. Client-focused with good interpersonal skills and team approach + Willingness/ability to travel to job sites as needed + Valid driver’s license + Keen interest in applied environmental sciences + Ability to record data accurately, efficiently, and methodically + Hard working and highly motivated, with commitment to continued education, self-improvement, and safe work practices **Preferred Qualifications** + ​​​​2+ years of professional or equivalent experience + 40 Hour Wetland delineation training + OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour training + Work overwater experience including sediment and surface water sampling + Fisheries experience including electrofishing, trawls, seining + ArcGIS and/or CAD skills **Additional Information:** + AECOM may offer the option to work remotely or from other office locations, however a candidate local to Conshohocken, PA is preferred. + Due to the nature of the work, employees may be required to submit a drug test, MVR (motor vehicle record, or medical surveillance at the time of hire and/or throughout the duration of the position. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
