The Environmental Services Assistant maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents through cleaning, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Performs cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and deep cleaning to ensure sanitation (45%).
- Manages supplies, reports shortages, and requests restocking (10%).
- Follows infection control and safety protocols, monitors hazards, and reports issues (15%).
- Provides compassionate customer service, responding to resident needs promptly (10%).
- Adheres to privacy regulations, attends training, and maintains compliance (10%).
- Reports facility deficiencies and documents activities (5%).
- Performs other duties as assigned (5%).
Qualifications include a high school diploma, prior cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and working in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases. Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
