Job Details
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost forecasting, materials take-offs, and vendor coordination. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids, conducting thorough quantity take-offs, and developing project budgets to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
Develop project budgets and ensure projects remain within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Utilize industry-standard software tools to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
Maintain and utilize cost history to inform scope, pricing, and productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
