## Job Duties We are seeking a hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing quality service in a fast- paced environment. This role will perform a variety of duties related to the collection, cleaning, processing, and distribution of linens, garments, and personal clothing for residents in a long‑term care environment. While ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe laundry operation in compliance with infection control standards, safety guidelines, and care center policies.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm and every other weekend.

## Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, and weigh soiled laundry from designated residents areas.
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment according to established procedures.
  • Fold, stack, label, and distribute clean linens and personal clothing to appropriate units or storage areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry work area.
  • Follow infection control practices, including proper handling of contaminated materials.
  • Assist with inventory of linens and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.

## Minimum Qualifications What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of safe handling practices for soiled linens and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Skill in operating industrial laundry equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and residents.

## Additional Considerations

  • Prior experience in a healthcare, long‑term care, or institutional laundry environment.
  • Experience operating commercial‑grade washers, dryers, and finishing equipment.
  • Experience providing customer service in a resident‑ or patient‑centered environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance history.
