The Executive Director of Revenue Cycle provides strategic leadership for all revenue cycle operations across the health system, including hospitals and physician practices.
This role is responsible for optimizing net patient revenue, ensuring revenue integrity, and maintaining compliant, efficient, patient-centered processes.
They lead end-to-end performance by aligning people, processes, technology, and data to improve financial sustainability, reduce revenue leakage, and enhance the patient financial experience.
The position oversees functions such as Patient Access, Scheduling, Authorizations, HIM, Coding, Billing, and Account Resolution, collaborating with senior leaders to develop managed care contracts and reimbursement strategies.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), healthcare revenue cycle experience, EPIC proficiency, knowledge of payer contracting, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
