Responsible for efficiently operating the extrusion line from raw materials to finished products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Operate and set up extrusion machinery, including changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety policies, reporting hazards promptly.
- Monitor product specifications such as gauge, length, color, and surface quality, conducting quality control tests.
- Record production data accurately and follow schedules to meet customer orders.
- Communicate line issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of experience, ability to work at an accelerated pace, lift 50 pounds, and perform measurements. Effective communication, computer literacy, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
