Facilities & Construction Management Practice Leader

ATI has a current need for a full-time Facilities & Construction Management Practice Leader in Columbia, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. With a focus on facility operations and construction management, identifying new opportunities that correspond to ATI’s qualifications;
  2. Positioning and assembling a team to pursue these opportunities;
  3. Providing technical/cost direction and input in drafting proposals;
  4. Leading transition and start-up activities on new projects;
  5. Overseeing project execution requirements including safety, quality, staffing, client engagement, budget/cost planning, record keeping, invoicing, reporting, and management of project staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  1. Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Practice Leader, Director, Program Manager, or similar role on facility operations, construction, and/or construction management contracts in support of Government and/or commercial clients;
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or other relevant field;
  3. Connections throughout the facility and/or construction management community including Government and commercial clients, facility and construction management firms, and specialty subcontractors;
  4. Demonstrated success in identifying and leading capture of facility and/or construction management projects valued in excess of $1 Million;
  5. Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel) and excellent verbal and written communication skills – a writing sample will be required;
  6. High level of professionalism for client interaction;
  7. Certification in relevant field (i.e., PE, PMP, CFM, CCM, CxA, etc.) is a plus but not required.

Pay Range

$150,000 - $180,000/year depending on experience

Location

Columbia, MD; Working partially remotely can be considered.

Working Hours

Normal Work Hours – Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 per week).
