The Facilities and Fleet Manager evaluates, plans, and performs activities related to the upkeep and maintenance of our multiple site locations and company vehicles. As a member of the finance and administrative team, this individual will create and oversee maintenance schedules for all Clubs and properties as well as develop and update plans for fleet maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage maintenance and upkeep of facilities for site locations, including performing light repair and preventive maintenance tasks
  2. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance plan for all site locations
  3. Manage adequate inventory supplies for all site locations
  4. Create and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules
  5. Coordinate service and repair needs of fleet
  6. Ensure transportation needs are available for site needs by coordinating assets among sites
  7. Establish thoughtful budgets to support facilities and fleet needs to ensure department expenses remain within budget
  8. Work closely with external vendors to ensure quality, cost, and timeline of services to fulfill contract obligations
  9. Provide leadership in identifying and minimizing risk while collaborating with site leaders to ensure safe facilities and fleet
  10. Ensure that our Administrative Office and stand alone sites comply with all BGCA safety requirements while also equipping Area Directors with the necessary materials to comply with these requirements
  11. Ability to uphold the organization’s mission and values
  12. Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, coordinate resources
  2. Experience managing facilities, fleet, and budgets
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities and to collaboratively develop solutions for problems with limited supervision in a timely manner
  4. Mechanically inclined
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  6. Ability to adapt and be flexible
  7. Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office suite
  8. Ability to sit, walk, and stand. Must be able to lift and push up to 50lbs.
  9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, Leadership, Board Members, community members and other related agencies

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches
  2. Experience performing routine maintenance
  3. Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  4. Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record
