The Facility Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction to the cultivation facility team members and stake-holders, as well as ensuring day-to-day execution in safety, quality, delivery, costs and productivity within the operations of the cultivation facility. The Facility Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors and ensuring the integration of strategic plans within the facility. The individual will be a highly driven,dedicated and collaborative member of the senior leadership team, and entrusted with spearheading all efforts to enhance the Facility’s productivity and deliverables. The role requires significant analytical skills and judgement, elevated attention to detail and organizational skills.
Minimum of 1 year of Facility Manager experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in professional and life experience.
Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must speak/read/write English proficiently.
Bachelor's Degree in facility management, engineering or relevant field
Minimum of 2 years of indoor or greenhouse cannabis cultivation experience
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
Experience creating and implementing SOPs
Plan and coordinate all 3rd-party contractors, installations and refurbishments
Responsible for managing the site to achieve and surpass production targets and business goals and objectives.
Systems management of cultivation technology and workflows
Research and Development of cultivation systems and tools
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
Writing, revising and updating cultivation SOP’s
Maintain cultivation calendar
Consistent reporting on irrigation, climate and other cultivation systems
Ensure regulatory adherence at all levels of operation.
Complete all required facilities documentation
Recommend, oversee and report out on cost and environmental impact reduction strategies throughout all facilities
Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem solving skills in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
Participate in cultivation and harvest responsibilities as needed

Employee works in a cultivation environment at State Flower Cannabis Headquarters and must be capable of adhering to full Personal Protective Equipment guidelines per OSHA and SFPHD requirements, to maintain a safe and sterile environment (i.e. hair net, face mask, gloves, lab coat, foot booties, etc.)
