Responsibilities
PRIMARY
- Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in-patient as determined.
- Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Actively engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Responsible for learning compliance aspects by completing all mandatory training.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees and facilitate introductions to team members.
- Support new employee training by providing job shadowing and coaching opportunities.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
*** Additional Requirements and Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers
- Responsible for on-call periodically throughout the year.
Experience Requirements and Preferences:
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice is strongly preferred.
Current License or Certification:
- License and DEA must be active and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency.
- Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements needed; DOT certification is required to be obtained within 120 days of employment.
