The Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily project operations, including scheduling, coordinating materials, tools, equipment, subcontractors, and field personnel across construction phases. They assist the Superintendent in managing project progress, ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, safety, and quality standards. Key duties include preparing construction schedules, managing site facilities, enforcing safety policies, monitoring costs, coordinating inspections, and maintaining documentation such as as-builts and punch lists. They facilitate communication among stakeholders, monitor safety and production logs, and ensure timely deliveries and inspections. Additionally, they support project close-out activities, evaluate staffing and performance, and perform tasks assigned by the Superintendent to ensure project success within budget and schedule constraints.
