We are looking for a Field Technician (Contract to hire) to join our Los Angeles team. The ideal candidate should be a stickler for detail, proactive, skilled in general maintenance tasks and thoughtful as to ensure that the property is continuously in pristine condition for our guests. The role is primary responsible for assisting our Operations Team in preparing new units, ensuring that existing units are perfect for our guests, and handling any issues or emergencies that arise. These issues include but are not limited to: guest lockouts, emergency relocations and communication to keep Operations Managers informed of potential repairs and actions being taken.

This position will require some weekend and evening shifts but will not exceed a total of 40 hours/week.

This position requires a reliable method of transportation, as it involves commuting to and from various properties.

What you will mostly focus on:

  • Assist Operations Managers in the set-up of the units with un-boxing, furniture assembly and frames' installation
  • Complete basic maintenance tasks to ensure positive guest experience
  • Perform check-in/outs to our properties according to business standards
  • Be the main point of contact between our guests and the customer experience team
  • Supervise handyman while working on resolving an emergency in our apartments (locksmith, plumber etc.)

What you may focus on:

  • Manage viewings at Blueground properties for prospective clients or partners
  • Perform messenger related duties such as collecting paperwork, delivering items, receiving mail
