POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Manager, Nitrogen FP&A, this position will be responsible for the preparation of detail and time sensitive forecasts, reports for senior management and board of directors, analyzing results of forecasts and of actual financial results, preparing the annual budget, as well as other special projects and ad hoc reports for senior management. Requests may be time sensitive with minimal advance notice. The incumbent will be required to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of company financial and operational performance along with financial and strategic objectives. This position will be involved with and handle non-public proprietary information with strict confidentiality.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS•    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS•    0 - 4 years of Finance experience•    Energy industry experience beneficial•    Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work under minimal supervision•    Experience with Hyperion including HFM, Essbase, Smartview, EPM, & EPBCS beneficial•    Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite•    Strong spreadsheet financial modeling using Excel•    Excellent written and oral communication skills•    Fundamental accounting knowledge beneficial•    Ability to resolve complex problems•    Ability to articulate complex information to a varied audience clearly and concisely•    Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast- paced environment•    Ability to adjust schedule to accommodate unexpected changes•    Minimal travel on as needed basis


•    Work on financial planning and analysis for forecast and annual budget for the assigned businesses•    Work on balance sheet and cash flow forecast for the assigned businesses•    Prepare materials for management reviews and board presentations•    Design, develop and utilize financial models•    Produce detailed reports, graphs, charts and presentations•    Interpret data on price, yield, stability, economic influences and other factors affecting forecasting and financial planning•    Monitor fundamental economic, industrial and corporate developments by analyzing information from various sources•    Regularly communicate with supervisor work progress, concerns, questions•    Work on special projects as needed

EXPECTED RESULTS •    Effective, timely and professional reporting and presentation of forecasts, budget, and other financial planning and analysis results•    Continuous improvement in analysis, reliability of planning and forecasting and reporting processes•    Tasks completed accurately and timely•    Adherence to all company policies and procedures
