The Fixed Equipment Engineer is responsible for developing and managing inspection programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
They perform root cause analyses, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with maintenance teams on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
The role involves leading risk-based inspections, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing improvements to extend equipment lifespan while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
They maintain detailed documentation, provide technical support during plant shutdowns and projects, and assist with planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
The ideal candidate has a BSME, 10+ years of experience in fixed equipment engineering (preferably in chemical, refining, or LNG), strong knowledge of codes (ASME, API, ANSI, NACE), reliability practices, materials engineering, inspection methods, and asset management tools.
Relocation is available, with a salary range of $175K-$210K.
