The Fixed Wing Pilot ensures safe aircraft operations in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
- Performs preflight planning, aircraft maintenance checks, and effective communication with team members, patients, and support staff.
- Acts as Lead Pilot, Instructor, Check Pilot, or Mentor, overseeing flight performance, safety, and team development.
- Maintains deep knowledge of aviation regulations and fosters safety culture.
- Supports medical crew with patient transfers and aircraft duties.
- Qualifications include extensive flight hours, appropriate licenses, and experience in EMS or turbo-jet operations preferred.
- Requires physical ability to lift heavy items, operate equipment, and navigate confined spaces.
- Location is Elko, NV, with scheduled weekly hours of 42 and a pay range of $45.55 - $71.73/hour.
