The Forklift Operator I is responsible for moving materials between inventory and production, maintaining accurate records, and supporting production needs.
Principle duties include transporting materials, packaging finished goods, assisting with bottlenecks, performing equipment maintenance, and keeping the inventory yard organized. The role requires completing production records, following safety policies, and participating in safety and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications include a minimum of 9th grade education (high school diploma or GED preferred), with forklift experience and basic math knowledge preferred. Must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete forklift licensing.
Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 hourly, with potential incentive pay and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, stock purchase, educational reimbursement, and wellness programs.
