The Forklift Operator ensures safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using various equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
They load/unload freight, accurately check for damage or infestation, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining safety and OSHA standards.
The role requires working independently, meeting production goals, and maintaining a clean environment.
Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with at least 3 months of related experience, and must be able to operate equipment safely, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in cold, hot, or elevated environments.
Physical stamina, attention to detail, punctuality, and flexibility for overtime, evenings, or weekends are essential.
