Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of
precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting
opportunity for General Labor, Molders, Melters, and Machine
Operators. Position Requirements: Experience in foundry
manufacturing environment preferred Must have ability Lift and carry up
to (50lbs)
Responsibilities
- Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface
imperfections.
- Assemble cores into lower sections of molds, to create mold assembly
per work instructions.
- Tend machines that bond cope and drag together to form completed
molds.
- Operate molding machines and related equipment to produce quality
products.
- Inspect cores for defects and report and issues to the supervisor.
- Clean and maintain work area to ensure safe and efficient work
environment.
- Work to meet production goals and deadlines

- Strong interpersonal communication skills. Able to work well on a
team. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
