The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in, check-out, and stay experience.

  • Greet and welcome guests professionally.
  • Handle check-in/check-out procedures accurately.
  • Answer calls, assist guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Secure payments, issue room keys, and maintain records in the property management system.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly, escalating when needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to prepare rooms and fulfill guest requests.
  • Keep lobby and front desk area clean and organized.
  • Follow security procedures and monitor guest access.
  • Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Promote hotel amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Some roles may require operating hotel shuttle or valet services.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience preferred, strong communication skills, proficiency with computer systems, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual abilities and a valid driver’s license are a plus. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform related tasks is necessary. Salary ranges from $16 to $18 per hour.
