Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As our Front Desk Administrative Support you will have the opportunity to provide administrative and patient care support to our WLA PEDS clinic, part of the UCLA Ambulatory Care Clinic. You will assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge, ensuring a smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation. You will also assist with phone calls, patient messages, faxes, and various other tasks.

Salary range: $26.42- $37.49

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high volume setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
  • Skill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment making process, maintain physician schedules

Preferred:

  • Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and Emails
  • Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
