Under direction and supervision, teach, train, and advise medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of surgery and robotic surgery; Provide full-time clinical care, to an underserved patient population, using new technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer; Execute interventional robotic bronchoscopies and conduct robotic surgery in the chest and upper GI (esophagus, stomach); Conduct research in the field and participate in committee assignments, curriculum development, and administration as needed; Other duties and University service as assigned. No travel is required for this position. This position minimally requires a MD degree or its foreign equivalent, 6 yrs of general surgery residency, and a valid State of Illinois medical license or eligibility for an Illinois medical license.
