Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Accommodation: This is a full-time live-in position. Live-in accommodation is provided during the Florida season (January – April). Flexibility is required for the New Jersey season (May – December) and travel between both locations.

Job Description

A private family is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny to assist with managing their household and caring for their two young children, ages 2 and 1. This role requires a balance of housekeeping (60%) and childcare (40%), with a focus on maintaining the household’s organization while providing nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for the children. The position includes year-round support, with seasonal transitions between West Palm Beach, FL, and Florham Park, NJ.


Responsibilities

Housekeeping (60%)

  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the home, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
  • Assist with light meal preparation for the family as needed.
  • Manage household supplies and restocking as required.
  • Support with household errands and organization.

Childcare (40%)

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for the children, promoting their safety, growth, and development.
  • Plan and engage in creative, age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks specifically for the children.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized environment in children’s spaces, including play areas, bedrooms, and meal areas.
  • Handle diaper changes, potty training, and other care routines as required.
  • Assist with travel preparation, including packing and maintaining children’s schedules during travel.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about the children’s milestones, needs, and any concerns.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional housekeeping and nanny experience, preferably with toddlers.
  • Flexibility to live in during the Florida season (January – April) and travel between both locations as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to seasonal transitions and family travel plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
  • A warm, proactive, and patient personality with a passion for childcare and housekeeping.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality required to work within a private family setting.
  • Valid Work Authorization.
  • Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
