Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Nanny/House Manager for their family that includes two parents and two girls ages 2.5 and 4.5 years old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The best Nanny/House Manager for this family would be hardworking, honest, caring, outgoing, reliable, and flexible. This would be a hybrid House Manager/Nanny position, and the children will be first priority, but when mom is available to take care of the kids or they are at school, the family would like the House Manager/Nanny to help with Household Management tasks. These would include the tasks listed below in the Household duties section. The children like to play outside in the backyard/swing set, dance and listen to music, go for walks, paint and create art, and play in their playroom. The Nanny/House Manager would be encouraged to be creative and engage the children in activities that would encourage their growth and development. Their youngest daughter has food allergies to nuts, so special care should be taken when preparing her food and feeding her, the home is nut free.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

  • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

  • Engaging with the children on an age appropriate level

  • Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

  • Doing hands on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

  • Laundry and changing sheets

  • Children’s meal prep

  • Filling/emptying dishwasher

  • Picking up toys

  • Helping with kids meals

  • Picking up groceries/similar errands

  • Helping to coordinate any minor home repairs, etc.


  • Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

  • Have a college degree or equivalent experience

  • Have a professional resume

  • Fill out a complete online application

  • Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

  • Pass a national background check, including driving record check

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Have safe and reliable transportation

  • Have a minimum of three professional references

  • CPR and First Aid Certified

  • Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

  • Must be up to date on vaccinations including the Covid-19 vaccine prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

  • This position starts ASAP

  • Legal pay is offered at a negotiable rate at $22.00 an hour plus, depending on experience

  • Two weeks of paid time off

  • Continued pay while family is away

  • Paid Mileage for driving on the Job

  • Annual performance based bonus

  • $1,000 sign on bonus after 3 months of employment
