What You'll Do as a Therapist

  • Provide direct and indirect clinical services to youth in a crisis stabilization setting
  • Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment and discharge plans
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain a clinical caseload and complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary treatment teams, and community partners
  • Participate in family-team meetings and permanency planning
  • Coordinate with courts, state agencies, and outside providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Support safe transitions to aftercare and community-based services

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
  • Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
  • Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
  • Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
