Summary Description

This General Labor position is expected to work as part of a highly functioning team in all aspects of the Production Line, to create an acceptable finished product that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations. This position must be committed to remaining on a line until they are relieved by a suitable replacement. This position may appear as production worker in client systems.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.


Three to six months related experience or training in warehouse production.

Excellent attendance is paramount to success in this position. A positive attitude and a teamwork mentality are required.

Ability to effectively work in teams.

Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals and roles.

Ability and willingness to learn and function as part of a team; treat team members with courtesy and respect every day.

Essential Functions

  1. Demonstrate commitment to safety, maintaining a clean work environment, and performing job duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
  2. Ability to fully perform all functions on production line, including but not limited to, moving pallets of product, opening boxes, unloading boxes, unloading product, repackaging and reboxing, affixing labels, placing boxes on pallets and/or shrink-wrapping pallets.
  3. Perform job duties with a commitment to quality and adherence to customer specifications and GMP guidelines (Good Manufacturing Practices), including use of proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
  4. Safety sensitive position - Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  5. Prepared, in position and ready to work at the start of the shift.
  6. Maintain a professional demeanor and superior performance in all job functions.
  7. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
