GENERAL SUMMARY

Qualcomm provides complete chipset solution that includes CPU, Modem, Application Processor, Multi-media engines, Interconnect and more. Power is a key area that drives the value of our chips. As fabrication technology node shrinks, and performance requirement become higher, it is crucial to provide power optimized solutions, which is the responsibility of the group that you will be working in.Job Description:The largest provider of mobile SoC (system on chip) solutions. Adreno GPU has been the industry leading mobile graphics solution and has been the dominating GPU in todays smart phone market. Our power efficient GPU solution is fundamental to enable the new exciting markets like VR/AR, IoT, AI, drone, autonomous driving etc. GPU compiler is a key component of graphics solution. We are looking for talented engineers to create world class GPU compiler products to enable high performance graphics and compute with low power consumption. This position will be responsible for research, development and delivery of Qualcomm's Adreno GPU compiler products to our world wide customers. At same time, there will be opportunities to influence GPU hardware design based on experience on how our GPU compiler has been used by real world users. Depending on the specific role, interactions with GPU architecture design team, graphics driver team and international graphics programming standard specification committees might be required.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.2+ years relevant GPU experience (either external or internal).1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).

2+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
