Moore & Associates is a small law firm that represents individuals and families in federal bankruptcy court. We currently employ 4 attorneys, 2 paralegals, and 9 administrative staff associates. Our management philosophy revolves around teamwork and cooperation. We are looking for a Part Time Grant Writer to join our staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, future growth and financial needs of the organization
    • Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization
  • Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval
    • Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals
    • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers
  • Maintain organized records and submit reports related to grant opportunities
    • Other duties may be assigned
  • Possess excellent research skills and knowledge of information sources
  • Possess good computer skills
  • Have the ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity
  • Have a complete understanding of the proposal submission and fundraising process
  • Have the ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organized and detail oriented so that they can effectively manage each grant opportunity
  • Possess multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
  • Enjoy talking and interacting with people and always be friendly and engaging

The ideal candidate will:

Salary and Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: $15/hr
