Chance to build a platform, grow a specialized book of business, set up to have runway and truly grow as an Investment Banker Title: Healthcare Investment Banking – MD
Salary: $400,000 – $500,000 + Bonus component
Location: New York, NY (On Site) Responsibilities:Overlook the execution of complex Healthcare M&A transactions while juggling multiple work streams simultaneously
Deal origination responsibilities, must have a track record of bringing in revenue through key relationships in the mid markets, ability to cross sell between internal firm networks and service lines
Work hand in hand with the Junior Bankers, C-Suite clients and internal team members/leadership
Advise on Buy/Sell side M&A mandates
Engage in the due diligence process of deals
Develop pitch materials and win clients
Source leads, foster relationships and Healthcare industry trends to source deals
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Bankers (VPs and Directors) and work alongside seasoned MDs
Analyze current market data and understand current market trends based on real time date
Industry focus – Healthcare (MedTech, Tools & Diagnostics, Healthcare Service and or Healthcare IT)Requirements:BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
Anywhere between 12 to 15 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory (ideally all within the Healthcare Investment Banking industry sector and or subsectors)
STRONG M&A Exp is a must from buy-side & sell side with a mix of Capital Raising, the split is 70-20-10, comes from a deep Mid Market background
Must have a book of business and ownership of deal origination
Playbook of clients to win over and even possibly bring over a pipeline
MUST be from a mid market Investment Banking shop, boutique Advisory firm or a Bulge Bracket with a track record (and vested interest/network in the mid markets)
Revenue targets and past revenue generation of $5mn-$10mn
Depending on experience, have runway and be on pace to bring in revenue 6 months – 18 months
