Help Desk – Danvers Massachusetts – 6 month initial contract with longer term potential

25 to 30 per hour DOE

  • Primarily responsible for End User Support and customer service. Must be present and visible in the Help Desk area and available to users requiring technical assistance by phone, in-person, via email and ticketing system on issues related to PCs, Mobile Devices, desk phones, printing, software applications, hardware, and other internal services 
  • Respond to end-user requests and concerns in a timely, courteous manner 
  • Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 software (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc...) 
  • Support Active Directory accounts/computers and internet functions. 
  • Manage VOIP, Desktop and Software Phones. Support and troubleshoot Teams meetings and Teams enable conference rooms 
  • Provide technical support for Windows 10  
  • Technical support for Desktop and Laptop hardware (preponderant Dell). 
  • Responsible for accurate setup and efficient operation of intermediate event technology equipment 
  • Execute change management and compliance processes 
  • Produce appropriate documentation for deployment and on-going support 
  • Some on-call or after hours support maybe required. 
  • Provide transparent and effective communication to the business functions 
  • Prioritizing and managing both project and daily workflow responsibilities 
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration data for operating, regulatory, and audit purposes 
  • Adhere to proper process and change management requirements 
  • Collaboratively work with a global IT team and partner with external vendors for support of both internal, external, cloud, and hosted systems 

 Your qualifications: 

  • 3-5 year of experience in HelpDesk Support and advanced troubleshooting 
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills. 
  • Technical aptitude: ability to learn new systems and information quickly. 
  • Experienced with?Windows operating systems, network and internet. 
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Computer, Driver, OS and Office  
  • Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting Hardware, OS, Software, Driver issues 
  • Demonstrate technical competency and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work on-site in corporate office; consistent punctuality required 
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations 
  • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision 

Qualities that will make you stand out: THESE ARE NICE TO HAVES

  • Degree in Computer Information Systems, engineering technician or similar 
  • CompTIA A+ and MCSE Desktop infrastructure certified. 
  • Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge of Audio, Video, Projection; experience with Polycom, Creston and high-end projection hardware 
  • Knowledge in server hardware and software support 
  • Networking support (TCP/IP troubleshooting).
