Job Description:
United Trades of America is seeking an experienced High Density Paving Machine Operator to join a leading company in the construction industry. This position offers competitive pay based on experience, and an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to quality pavement systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating paver/finishing machines with high density screeds.
• Knowledge of machine setup, adjustments, and optimization for paving operations.
• Familiarity with daily machine cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Experience training and supervising screed operators and ground personnel.
• Strong communication skills with supervisors and concrete plant.

Job Duties:

• Set up the machine for proper width, paving depth, line, and grade.
• Supervise and train screed operators and ground personnel to ensure quality paving.
• Adjust machine settings to improve the quality and consistency of the paving mat.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment and assist mechanics with major repairs.
• Maintain and clean the machine after each use, including lubrication and routine maintenance.
